X-Analyser Features

The X-Analyser standard edition (without any options) has the following features:

  • Controller Area Network (CAN)- Raw Message Monitoring 11-bit and 29-bit Message ID Support
  • Local Interconnect Network (LIN Option)- Raw Message Monitoring (versions 1.2, 1.3, 2.0, 2.1 Supported)
  • Transmission of raw CAN and LIN Messages and Interactive Generator – for Signals/CANdb oriented CAN transmission
  • One or Two Channel Support- depends upon Supported Hardware – see CAN Interfaces and Devices
  • Supports Standard and Custom CAN Bit Rates – 50Kbit, 100Kbit, 125Kbit, 250Kbit, 500Kbit, 1Mbit, and Custom (depends on particular CAN interface)
  • Monitor and Active modes – Simply monitor CAN or participate in bus communication
  • Absolute and Relative Time Stamping- 1 microsecond resolution
  • Chronological or Fixed Positiion Display Updating
  • Bus Information Display – lost messages, and the minimum, maximum, and current bus loadings
  • Multiple Filter Capabilities
  • Buffering in RAM up to 1’000’000 Messages- guarantees excellent realtime performance
  • Message and Signal Logging and Saving Capability- save to disk, import into Excel
  • Decimal and Hexadecimal Display of Data
  • Record and Pseudo-Realtime playback
  • Trigger from message, error frame or signal value/event
  • Bus disturbance generator (1ms disturbance) – only available with Softing interfaces
